IHMT and the National Institute of Public Health (INASA) of Guinea-Bissau signed on 15 December, a cooperation agreement in the scientific, technological and cultural areas.
According to the president of INASA, Placido Monteiro Cardoso, the preparation of the II Strategic Plan of the Institute for 2016-2020 is ongoing, which foresees new approaches to Guinea health system, for which IHMT can provide an important contribution.
The signed agreement includes the development of joint research projects and exchange of researchers, technicians and students, as well as the collaboration in education and the promotion of conferences, seminars and other events. The two institutions also aim at building strong partnerships that contribute to technology transfer.
