In Brazil, specialized care (AE) is a field of disputes involving complex, antagonistic and diffuse interests. A scenario delineated by different actors, institutions and powers, it is characterized as one of the main “critical nodes” of the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). A situation that also occurs in other health systems around the world. In this way, the objectives to be achieved by the post-doctoral fellow linked to the Cartography of Specialized Care Research Project in Brazil are:
- Analyze the situational diagnosis of specialized care in Brazil to understand the barriers to access and the production process: queues for surgeries, consultations, diagnostic exams and procedures in collaboration with public health workers, managers and users analyzing the management, governance and care process in the Specialized Care network in public health;
- Prospect innovative solutions and practices for care management and governance of Specialized Care, supporting the formulation and implementation of the Specialized Care Policy in Brazil.
EXPECTED PRODUCTS:
