Vacina contra a malária: IHMT colabora com projeto do IGC financiado pela Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Applications from all the people involved or related by their work with the Institute are welcome until January 31, 2017. Selected photos will be included in an exhibition that will take place at IHMT between April 1 and June 30, 2017.

Filaríase. Tumefação da perna
O modelo foi executado em 1951/52 no gabinete de modelagem do Serviço de Anatomia Patológica do então Hospital Miguel Bombarda, agora o Hospital Central do Maputo, Moçambique. Destinado à ’Exposição Documental das Atividades Sanitárias do Ultramar’, que teve lugar em Lisboa no âmbito do I Congresso Nacional de Medicina Tropical – 1952, serviu depois para o ensino no Instituto de Medicina Tropical.
